Multitrack Recording
Most larger, multitracked projects are usually booked in at least two sessions - one or more sessions for tracking (recording your performance), and a separate session for mixing. Most bands will need to allow a total of one and a half to two hours per song for the tracking and mixing combined. We use these guidelines for scheduling, but of course every band is different - your recording could take more or less time depending on your recording experience, style of music (punk bands usually take less time), how well you know your songs, how mentally and physically prepared you are, and simply whether you're having a good day or not.
We can help you determine how much time to book when you call to schedule your session. All bookings for multitrack recording require a 2-hour minumum per session.

MIDI/VSti Recording (Sequencing)

You have to provide sample of your song(s) recorded on to cd or your mobile phone, accompanied by at

least one instrument eg: Acoustic Guitar. Our studio musician will map your sample in to our Cubase Le4 multitracker to generate full arrangement accordingly.

We can complete a ten song full arrangement in two week time. So if you're in good health and have enough time to keep up with the project, your album will be ready in one month. Please see Package to view our rates.

Solo Projects
(Vocal/Instrument Soloists,  Acoustic Projects, etc.)
Solo projects generally take much less time and can usually be mixed in the same session. Make sure to book enough time to allow several takes and mixing. Solo projects have a one-hour minimum for booking.

Hours/Rates (Live Recording)
Our rates are RM80/hour, which includes 1 copy of your final mix. Additional copies on CD-R are $3.00 each. Recording is available 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. only and must be booked in a
dvance (no walk-ins). All bookings for multitrack recording require a 4-hour minimum per session, and a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy
We require a 50% nonrefundable deposit for all recording sessions at the time the session is booked. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit will be applied as follows:

  • More than 72 hours notice - deposit may be applied to future session
  • Less than 72 hours notice - deposit is forfeited as cancellation fee

Recording Media
We record your "master" (the raw individual tracks) onto our multitrack digital hard disk recorder, then mix your finished product onto CD-R. You will go home from your final session with the finished mix on CD-R. Additional copies can be made on CD-R.

About Your Master
We also keep an archive of your master (the raw individual tracks) in case you decide to remix the project or overdub any tracks at a later time. The archive is in a file format that is proprietary to our machine and is kept in our files for 1 year from the date of the final session. If you wish to take home the master tracks for use on another machine or to load them into a computer, we can output the individual tracks for each song as .WAV files on CD-R.

Pro Tools and Software
Our multitrack digital recorder is the Steinberg Le 4 Virtual Multitrack Recording Studio, which can record up to 256 tracks simultaneously in 24-bit digital audio.  Our VSti Instruments checklist includes: Dropzone, Halion One, String Theory, DSK Brass, DSK String, Taurus, DVS Guitar, and many more.
